Memorial Stadium (Faurot Field) during east side expansion

Construction of the east side expansion of Memorial Stadium a.k.a. Faurot Field is well underway as of September 2013. This project is scheduled to be completed by the beginning of the 2014 football season. With the move to the SEC, the Mizzou football program has greatly expanded its viewing range and is pulling in fans throughout the country.  The expansion is planned to add an additional 5,200 seats as well as 800 box office seats. When the expansion of the east side is complete, the stadium is projected to have a capacity of 77,000.
